Festival of Voices

The Festival of Voices is Tasmania's leading winter cultural event and Australia's premier festival celebrating the vocalist and the power of song.

The Festival of Voices offers dozens of events for singers and audience members, including cabaret, choir and ensemble singing, spoken word, debate, poetry, storytelling and hip hop.  With a snow-capped Mt Wellington as a backdrop, join us in July on Hobart's cultural wharf precinct for a unique chance to sing.

In 2013, you'll be blown away with the talent and diversity on offer, including the most awarded vocal group on the planet, TAKE 6, and top Australian artists Christine Anu, Darren Percival (from The Voice) and Paul McDermott. There'll be choirs from around the country, workshops, pop up performances around the city and the best emerging talent in Australia including Triple J Unearthed winner 2012, Asta.
